James was killed in the Western Front in 1944 (around about the 10th December). James married a Jean Paterson circa 1940, Jean and my father Iain Stayed with her parents, at no. 3 Regent Terrace Edinburgh, throughout this time. Jean married a William Ure and Moved to Aberdeen where they had 2 girls Pat and Liz. Liz was adopted by a minister and moved to england
