Hi Just a long shot for the extended family of the Smiths. All I have is a william smith as the father on a birth certificate in 1887 for James Herbert, born in Boston Lincolshire, with the mother being Susannah Smith formerly Wells. I cannot find either of them on the 1881 census or any of them on the 1901 census and I have yet to view the 1891 census. James Herbert then married Annie Overton in June 1906 and had 4 children; James Herbert Tom, Ivy, Violet and Reginald. If this info corresponds with anything you have I would be glad to here from you. Regards Steve Smith PS William Smith will be my gg grandfather. |
