Trying to find the birth place of John George Baker 1870-1919. Married my Grandmother Sarah Ann Longden in Fairfield Buxton Derbyshire sometime in the 1890s. They met hop picking (Kent??) Both worked in the Laundry in Buxton. Have got information from 1901 census, but cannot makeout his place of birth -very frustrating. Please can anyone help? thanks |
