This is a longshot! I am trying to find any details about a distant rellie by the name of Charles Sydney Taylor, born in 1853 at Churchill Mill, Churchill, Glos(or Warks, not sure). He's the family sharp character, about whom things are guessed but he didn't sign much... known to be farming in Long Compton, on his father's farm at age 38, from where he moved to the Forest of Dean, and speculated on the mines, bought a couple of big houses, then effectively vanished. Thought to be married, children's names Tom and Isabel(?) Dad has been researching this but is currently quite ill, it would be nice to tie up the loose ends for him. |
