Member Since: November 2004 Posts: 1 Send Message	Hi all,I am trying to contact any relatives of my grandad, (fathers side) Thomas Wright(of Glasgow) born October 1933-first child of Thomas and Elizabeth Wright.Elder brother to James,Frank,Elizabeth(Betty) and Alice.He married Elsie Ashmore in Belmont Street,Kelvinside,Glasgow on 4th August 1952.Together they had two sons-Thomas Raymond Wright(29/11/53) and Alan Wright(14/10/59).His son Alan married Mary Hunter and they have a son named Kenneth.They live in Craigton,Glasgow.His son Thomas(Tam)was married,now divorced from Margaret Wright(nee Johnston);they had three children-Christopher(myself),Karen and Catriona,now all residing in County Durham,England.My grandmother Elsie Wright (nee ashmore) had four sisters-Emily,Winifred,Agnes (Cissie),Marion;two brothers-Raymond and Neil.My grandfather served in the Royal Navy followed by the Merchant Navy.He then worked in the building trade for several years within the Glasgow area.In later years he worked as a caretaker for the S.S.H.A first in Glasgow then Edinburgh until his death on 3rd April 1990.Anyone at all related or close to my grandad or any of his family/friends please feel free to contact me by email on -- [email protected] --many thanks ,christopher wright.
