TRYING TO TRACE BENNETT FAMILY FROM STOKE-ON-TRENT.MY GRANDMOTHER GLADYS,THE 4TH CHILD OF HENRY BENNETT AND HANNAH HOLT.OTHER CHILDREN WERE VERA,EDWIN,ELSIE AND GEORGE.GEORGE IS THE ONLY ONE STILL WITH US.HENRY BORN AROUND 1880ISH AND SO WAS HANNAH.THE FAMILY WORKED IN THE POTTERIES,THE FAMILY LIVED IN TRENTHAM.DON'T KNOW MUCH ELSE AS THEY WERE NOT A VERY CLOSE FAMILY.IF ANY NAMES RING A BELL PLEASE E-MAIL ME.I KNOWTHAT VERA OR EDWIN HAD A SON CALLED EDWIN.ELSIE'S FIRST HUSBAND DIED IN THE WAR.SHE REMARRIED LEN AND HAD A SON CALLED PETER.GEORGE DOESN'T HAVE ANY CHILDREN.HENRY WAS A POLICEMAN |
