My grandfather called Sydney jackson was born in 1907 and married in 1930 in Sunderland to a Doris Heldon who had a son called Sydney Eric Jackson in 1931 Bermondsey. (Sydney & Doris were later divorced) Sydney's trade was a cabinet maker/assistant whose father was called Jack Jackson and was a master butcher (date unknown) My father, Eric Jackson never new his father and was brought up by his mother Doris and step father col.W.
