Hi. My father was Michael Thomas Richard Walker born 1920 in Portsmouth to William Walker and Laura Larner (previously Proctor). I know at the time of my grandparents marriage in 1915 in Worcester that William Walker was a private in the Royal Engineers. His age is given as 23 which would give him a birth year of 1892ish. William and Laura also had a daughter Kath. They divorced about 1922. Williams fathers name was James and he is listed as an army pensioner. As I have no other details about William Walker I have hit a brick wall because there are hundreds of them! If anyone can help me I would be forever grateful. |
