Hello, i am desperately trying to find any info on my grandad. His name was Albert Edwin Hill and i think he was born in Blaby in Leicestershire in the early 1900's (maybe) and died in 1967, he was a long distance lorry driver. He married a lass from Wigston named Rose Vann. He had 5 sisters (i think) Lilly, Edith, Jone, Ada, Sarah and one brother Tom. His father was English, but his mother came from South Africa, and it's really her which interests me, but i know nothing about her??? Can anyone shed any light on any of this? Contact Allison Prince on this site, thanks |
