I am trying to find info on a Bertha Harris, my great grandmother. She died when I was 21 in Coventry. She married a Harry Gardner and together they had 2 children, Joyce, my grandmother and James who is now living in Austrailia. From what Bertha told me before she died she was raised in Warwick and her DOB was 13/12/1902 but I have been unable to find any record of either her birth or her marriage to Harry. Can anybody help, or does anybody have any ideas on where else I should look? I have got Joyce Gardner's birth cert and the mothers maiden name was definitely Harris. I also know that the residence of Bertha and Harry at the time was Humphriss Street in Warwick. Will be grateful of any info or advice anyone can give. Thanks Ann |
