my name is susan roberts and i am trying to find my fathers family we lived in north wales (bleaunau ffestinyog my dads family are from porthmadoc ) his name is william charles roberts and was born on the 29/10/ 1938 my father had two sisters one was called ruth but i dont know the others name he also had a large family but were only related by marrige this was a lrg family in porthmadoc we also lived in pwilheli my dad was known as taffy or bill he had polio which affected his right side and had a bad limp he worked as a storeman for the forces when he was young the last known address was THE BRIDGE COTTAGE and 110 HIGH STREET we also lived at 112 HIGH STREET i am sure that sombody knows of this family i also know that my nans (dads side) mother(MY GREAT NAN) was a romany gypsy if anybody can help me to find out about my welsh family i will be most grateful if anybody knows of a different approach to finding them please let me know thanks alot good luck in your own search sue |
