Trying to find Brown

I am trying to trace descendants of Vernon Brown b. about 1837 in North Rode, Congleton, Cheshire, son of Charles Brown b. Biddulph ?1804 and Ann Holland b. Gawsworth c. 1802. After working in Manchester where some of his children were born, Vernon became a farmer at Brewood, Staffs (Bell Fields farm). His children were Levi Brown b. about 1863 Manchester, John b. Manchester about 1867, Mary Brown b. Manchester about 1871 and Fanny M. Brown b. about 1872 North Rode. The whole family was living in Brewood in 1891 and Vernon alone and a widower in 1901. I believe there may still be descendants living in the Codsall Wood / Donington area, possibly also in Wolverhampton. Any help appreciated. Dennis Wood. |
