Trying to find any information on my Grandfathers family, he James Wood was born in Blyth, Northumberland 1911. his Parents were William Wood and Ettie (nee Atkinson) poss not her real name, i think his father was killed in WW1 and his mother left him (and went to Austrailia) with his maternal aunt Annie. Annie raised him and move down to Norwich were they stopped. I think Ettie and Annie had a brother who emmigrated to America, their Father was John Walter Atkinson. I have been told Ettie married again in Austrailia but never had any other chidren. Any info on the Wood or Atkinson side would be greatly apreciated David Wood |
