Member Since: May 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	Trying to find information about my natural father and brother: William Mitchell born 1904 (October?), possibly in or near Hereford. Married Carletta Coe (or Loe) from Manchester, year not known. William worked for BR in Willington, Derbyshire at one time, whilst Carletta had a job in the station cafe at Derby. My brother David William Mitchell was born in 1956 (again possibly October), probably in the Derby area. Was adopted shortly afterwards. His surname will be different now, of course, but I can't say if his first name has changed as well. Is believed to have been adopted by a family in the Sheffield or North Derbyshire area. William died in 1962 at the age of 58. Carletta is much younger, would be about 67 now and is believed to be still living in Derby. William's family are believed to have originated from the Cornwall area. There are several mentions of Cornwall Mitchells. Does William ring a bell with anyone? William and Carletta were apparently quite reclusive, but I hope someone remembers them. Does anyone know what happened to David?
