Alison G Wright I am the daughter of EDWIN JOHN WRIGHT b. 24.09.1936 who died in 1981. My father's father was EDWIN ALBERT WRIGHT. He was born in India May 2nd 1902. The illegible address on the birth certificate reads something like: Roadblock mins (or mine), Kolarfolk, field. He was an accountant. His father (My gread grandfather) was KENDALL WRIGHT married to MARY ANN WRIGHT and their address was 291 Park Rd, Oldham. He died in the 60's. EDWIN ALBERT WRIGHT married my granny ALICE WOOD HILL (from Cheshire) who was born in 1900 and died, 1991. EDWIN ALBERT WRIGHT had a brother also called KENDALL WRIGHT who I think emigrated to Belfast maybe in the 60s after his divorce. There was a rumour that there was an illegitimate daughter called GRACE. She might be 50 or 60 now. My father's brother, ANTHONY (Tony) WRIGHT recently passed away. The brothers were born in Ashton-under-Lyne and went to Canford School in S. England. My uncle (TONY WRGHT) says that we are related to the Bronte sisters by marriage to Patrick Bronte, the father of the 'sisters'. My e-mail is aishagwright at y a h o o . co. uk |
