Member Since: September 2004 Posts: 0 Send Message	Hi. I am trying to locate a Harriet Walker b 27.7.1931. Her father was a Henry Walker b 1906 in Newbottle, NE England and Mom was Dorothy Robinson d 1933. She had 1 brother Henry and 2 sisters Jane and Margaret. We understand that on the death of their mother the children were put up for adoption. Harriett was apparently adopted by a Mr Will Rowe & Mrs S Rowe but the other 3 ended up living with their Grandmother. The Rowes lived very close to the Walker Grandparents and Jane used to walk around to visit Harriet virtually everyday as she was very fond of her younger sibling. One day she arrived and the Rowe house was empty. Rumour had it that they emmigrated to Canada. The Rowes could have had a business in the N East ie Butcher Shop? Does this sound familar to anyone. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Bernard Williamson.
