Any information on Frederick Carter, born Warminster Wilts. 1847, or his wife Mary,b.1846. In 1881 they lived in Hillwood Lane, Warminster, with 4 of their children,[Alice their eldest, was my grandmother] In the 1901 Census , Frederick is not mentioned, but Mary is. So I assume he died before the census was taken. I know he was a General labourer, but nothing else.Their other children,up to 1881, were Albert John, William and Bessie Mary. I also know of at least one more - Annie [known in the family as Nance] |
