My Gx3 Grandparents, James WILLIAMS and his FIRST Wife, Mary TOLLEY, Married, on 14 May 1821, at UPTON ON SEVERN Parish Church, WORCESTERSHIRE. Unfurtunately, Mary died, aged only 34, on 13 June 1828, not long after the BIRTH of their 4th known Child, James TOLLEY WILLIAMS, on 9 May 1828. When the Boy was BAPTISED, on 22 June 1828, in UPTON ON SEVERN Parish Church, less than a fortnight after his Mother had died, he was given her Maiden Surname of TOLLEY, as a Middle Name, in her Memory. My Gx3 Grandfather, James WILLIAMS, Married his SECOND Wife, Jane DAVIS, who is another of my Gx4 Grandmothers, on 14 May 1834, at KEMPSEY Parish Church. Therefore, my Great Grandparents, another James WILLIAMS and Jane Margaret LANE, were Half Cousins, as they had the same Grandfather, my Gx3 Grandfather, James WILLIAMS. My Great Grandfather, James WILLIAMS, was the Grandson of Jane DAVIS. But my Great Grandmother, Jane Margaret LANE was the Granddaughter of Mary TOLLEY. All the Children of my Gx3 Grandparents, James WILLIAMS and Jane DAVIS, were Baptised in UPTON ON SEVERN Parish Church. They were: - Walter WILLIAMS, BORN on 26 December 1835, was BAPTISED, on 23 July 1837. George WILLIAMS, BORN on 21 July 1837, was BAPTISED, on 23 July 1837, DIED, aged 6, on 7 February 1844, in UPTON ON SEVERN, and was BURIED, on 2 March 1844, in UPTON ON SEVERN Parish Church. Edwin WILLIAMS, BORN on 7 August 1839, was BAPTISED, on 8 September 1839. Henry WILLIAMS, BORN on 6 February 1842, was BAPTISED, on 6 March 1842. Joseph WILLIAMS, BORN on 12 April 1844, was BAPTISED, on 14 April 1844, DIED, aged 0, on 3 June 1844, in UPTON ON SEVERN, and was BURIED, on 6 June 1844, in UPTON ON SEVERN Parish Church. His TWIN Brother, my Gx2 Grandfather, George WILLIAMS, was BORN and BAPTISED, on the same dates as his TWIN. I know of other WILLIAMS Descendants, in UPTON ON SEVERN, WORCESTERSHIRE, and in WOLVERHAMPTON, STAFFORDSHIRE. I would be pleased to exchange information.
