I am trying to get any information on my father Frank Davies he married my mother constance alice worland (deceased) in lewisham registry office in 1939 & was 34 years old. he has two children Roy & myrtle now both living in australia. the only information I haveinformation that he was badly wounded on the beaches of Dunkirk during the invasion & he was a soldier with the Royal Berkshire regiment. He was transfered to Eastbourne Hospital & I believe he lost a leg. He's fathers name was William Henry Davies The address he lived at with my mother on my Birth Certificate in 1943 was gildford st. Chertsey. My mother divorced him about 1948 & I believe he then lived with a sister any one knowing anything of this man I would be pleased to hear from. |
