I am trying to find my twin we were seperated at birth, we was born on the 10 May 1954 in Peckham South East London. Due to my parents passing away when I was young I have only managed to obtain minimal information from surving relatives. Our parents names were Albert Edward Cooper & Rose Winifred Cooper (nee Kennard). I know that we were both born at home and were together for a few days after our birth, as our sister and a cousin who lived next door remembers this. I have been told many stories over the years as to what was suppose to have happened to my twin these being, it was still born, died soon after birth, and it was not formed right. I have checked with the family records office and there is no record of a death certificate, or record of a still born child around the date of our birth. I beleve that the twin may well have been adopted by a distant cousin of our mother's although no adoption record can be found. If any one has any information as to the where abouts of my twin, be it boy or girl, please contact me. I would also like to hear from anyone who can suggest other records I might be able to check. |
