I am trying to find details of Septimus Thomas Harrison who married Fanny Edwards and registered a daughter born 5th July 1894 (Hilda Gertrude Harrison). The birth was registered in the district of Barnsley, Sub-district of Darton County of York. (Roystone ?) Septimus Thomas gives his occupation as coal miner. Hilda married Wilhelm Lindberg from Sweden (Stockholm) in Australia. I am not sure as to how or when Hilda immigrated to Australia but she was in a coal mining town in Australia.. Helensburgh NSW so she may have been with parents? I have traced Septimus back one generation to his parents John and Mary Harrison 1832 and 1834 birthdates. Their children Joseph1857, george 1861, daniel 1863, levi 1865, william 1867, SEPTIMUS 1869, mary 1871, Edward 1873, and hannah 1877. On the 1881 census the five eldest boys were coal miners or colliery labourers. |
