My greatgrandmother had an illegitimate daughter called Daisy Stinchcombe, dob 20/01/1888, born at the Union Workhouse in Yate, also known as the Spike. She doesn't seem to appear in any records after that. Possibly died as a child, there is some hint that she may have been adopted by a family called Tuck, possibly living in Hawkesbury/Badminton/Chipping Sodbury/Yate area. Any info much appreciated. |
