Hi
Have just read your request for info on Stanley Davies and his brothers. I am looking for relatives of a Haydn Davies from Swansea and some of your details would appear to match. I understand the Haydn Davies I am looking for worked for Newport CC as a welfare officer in the late 50's early 60's before returning to live in Swansea. Also that he was in the Navy during the war. If you think there may be a connection, please let me know. Many thanks. Lesley

Stanley Davies and his brothers Glyn, Cyril, Haydn and Arthur of Swansea, 1950's. I'm looking for any info on my dad, Stanley Davies, born 1921-22, (probably Swansea, Wales) who died in 1958. In particular, I'm looking for links to his family, especially his brothers. He had at least 4, maybe more brothers. One had a false leg. I used to visit Stanley's mum (Mrs M Davies) in Swansea in the 50's, but I was only a nipper then of about 6-10 yrs old, and cannot remember the address. The names of 4 of the brothers were definitely Cyril, Arthur, Glyn, and Haydn. Stanley's death certificate (he died aged 36 yrs old from a heart problem, 1958, Weymouth, Dorset) states that the witness was his father a "Mr D Davies of 18, New St, Swansea" If you have any ideas, or possibilities for any links to this family, please let me know, since I lost contact with them from 1958, and would love to find out what happened to the brothers. I have a very vague feeling that some of his brothers were sailors, and possibly had links to Australia, or NZ Thank you, Richard Davies (born 1948).
