Has anyone got a MICHAEL JACKSON in their tree? Born 1829 in Stockeld, Spofforth,Yorks. Trained as a Chemist in York 1845-49. Moved to Brompton on Swale where he is shown with his father TIMOTHY who was the innkeeper of the Farmers Arms Catterick Bridge. Nothing else known until he married Mary Cannell (widow) in 1876. He is shown as a widower - anyone know of his first wife to help me fill in the missing 25years? They were living in Wolverhampton when my grandmother was born in 1881 so he moved about a bit! |
