My grandfather was Joseph Allen born Merthyr Tydfil, Wales 1861 to Daniel born in Cork about 1824 and Catherine born in Kilkenny about 1826. They lived in Merthyr Tydfil and Ystradyfodwg. They had sons Daniel, John, David, William, Joseph and Alexander. Daniel, the son, is on the 1861 census but not on the 1871 census. John migrated to New South Wales about 1880. David stayed in Wales and married Mary A possibly Connolly. William, Joseph and Alexander migrated to New South Wales in the 1880s. Joseph married Susan Harris and died in Boulder, Western Australia in 1920. Seeking any connections or information. |
