JAMES JACKSON I'm trying to find the parents of my great grandfather JAMES JACKSON (farmer/game keeper) who was born around the 1830s/40s and from the Leigh/Warrington area. He was married to ISABELLA (nee PETERS) they lived in CULCHIETH, and had 7 boys and one girl. Henry - 10/01/1886 (my grandfather) who married Beatrice Maud (nee Porritt) and had 5 daughters. Arthur- Appx.1888? (who married Polly, lived in Risley, and had one son.) Jim- " 1891? (who had 1 son, 1 daughter) Bob- " 1894? Charlie- " 1895? Fred- " 1897? Sydney- " 1899? (who had one daughter and was reputed to have recieved a VC.) Violet- " 1900? Any help with tracing back from James and Isabella would be appreciated. Thanks, Carol Douglas. |
