Member Since: May 2004 Posts: 0 Send Message	My WRIGHT family originated in Gloucestershire, the earliest known to me is Henry Wright from the hamlet of Stockwell near Cowley, Glos. Later branches of the family lived in Cowley or Brimpsfield and later still in Mitcheldean. My grandfather Albert Thomas Wright left Glos and settled in Newport, South Wales. Josiah Wright born 1800 at Cowley married twice - first to Susannah Paget and secondly to Mary Merchant and between the two marriages Josiah fathered a large family. Surely there must be someone connected to this family! I look forward to hearing from you.
