ALLEN ancestors from KENT. A man from Canada emailed me a year back and my computer! lost his address before I could reply. We seemed to be researching similar names. My Gt Gran was Emma Allen and she was one of 10 children. Her parents were Samuel (a twin of Joseph)born 1832, and Mary Ann Wickham who married in Frindsbury, Kent on July 20th 1829. Samuel and Joseph were of 5 known children of John and Rose. This John born May 06 1770 was from 5 children of Robert (born June 09 1737)and Sarah Tanner and he was a son of a John born about 1710) and a Mary. I gathered all this from Bishops Transcripts of Churches in Chatham Kent mainly. Hope we can reunite too. Doreen. |
