I am trying to find any information about my fathers family. My father was Albert Edward Turner (Ted) born July 15, 1914 in Deptford. I have a vague recollection that he was the youngest of 3 children (2 boys, 1 girl) although this information may not be correct. He married and had a son, John who was born c.1945. He left the U.K. for Canada in 1949 and ended up in the Bahamas where he fathered 2 more children (myself and my sister Madeline). He died 23/12/68 in Nassau, Bahamas. I think his mothers maiden name was Bearchell (but this could also be incorrect). I really would like to find out more about my fathers side of the family as I know so little. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
