hi i am trying to trace the descendants of WILLIAM BENNETT.b 1840, HANMER, FLINT. He married ANN TAYLOR in 1874. The had 9 children that I know of, JOSEPH, SARAH A, WILLIAM, THOMAS, HARRIET, LUCY, MARY, HENRY and JOHN. They moved around the flint area and I know they lived in MALPAS before finally settling in BURWARDSLEY, CHESHIRE. (William, Henry and John were killed in WW1) WILLIAM BENNETT was the son of JOSEPH BENNETT (b. 1800)and ANN EDWARDS from HANMER. I think he had a brother called JOHN BENNETT (b. 1835) (he married a JANE). They had children MURIEL, JOHN, ELIZABETH and CLARA |
