Richard Peter and Maurice Archie Hall I am trying to find my two brothers with whom I have had no contact since 1943-in reality I can't remember them. My older brother is Richard Peter Hall D.O.B.5th October 1932 now aged 72. My younger brother is Maurice Archie Hall DO.B 27th April 1934 now aged 70. I also have two half-sisters-Peggy and Unice of whom I know nothing apart from the fact that in 1947 Peggy was 16 making her 73 now and Unice was 4 making her 61 now. My mothers name was Linda Kathleen Hall(nee Allsopp) and my fathers name was Isaac Thompson Hall. I was born in Coventry on 16th April 1939 and lived at 22 Telfer Road Radford. We were evacuated to 1 Works Cottages Stockton near Rugby from where my brothers and myself were taken into care as being in need of care and protection. In 1946 I was placed with foster parents.while Richard and Maurice were returned to their mother in 1947 to an address at 19 Mainway Braunstone Park Leicester where my mother was living with a man called Chapman whose name she subsequently took.Unice and Peggy were living with their mother at that time.It is conceivable that my mother may have changed my brothers names to Chapman. I have no further information about my family after 1947. If anyone out there has any information about my family however insignificant it may seem I would love to here from you. |
