Trying to find my grandfather Edward CARTER born 1879 Handsworth, Birmingham. Went to NSW 1899. Married Lilian Louisa HANSHAW (born 1883 Grenfell, NSW) in 1908 in Grenfell, NSW. Children Hazel (male) and Ruby (female) possibly born Australia or could be England. Edward was a barber. Were there other children? Did Edward come back to UK? Also trying to find Edward's younger brother William Robert CARTER who married Ethel Emily Wood in 1910 in Birmingham. William's address at that time 53 Copeley Hill, Gravelly Hill. William was a metal spinner. Did they have children? Edward and William's father (Edward CARTER) was a pawnbroker in Birmingham up until 1935. Barbara |
