I am looking for anyone related to my late father. He was born David Ronald Evans on 9th November 1917 in Pontypridd. He later changed his surname to Davies, but I don't know if he was legally adopted or not. My father had 2 sisters and 1 brother and I've just found out that one sister was called Olwen and was born in Pontypridd on 15th March 1919. My father's parents were called Elizabeth (nee Bowen) and John Evans. My grandmother's parents were Mary and Thomas Bowen and my grandfather's father was James Evans. I don't know what his mother was called. My grandparents married in Pontypridd on 30th December 1913. My grandmother had a brother called William Evan Bowen who was married to Margaret Bowen and she also had a brother called David Ellis Bowen. The family lived for many years at 30 Bronllwyn Road, Gelly, Rhondda. Please get in touch if anyone knows this family. |
