Member Since: April 2004 Posts: 1 Send Message	James Carter came out to New Zealand from St John Preston, Lancashire, England back in 1847 on the ship Minerva with his wife Mary(Greenwood) and their four Children Jane (b1835), John (b1841), Robert (b1843) and James (b1846) and they settled in Howick. John is my Great Grandfather but I know very little if anything about what happened to the others. If anyone has any information I would really appreciate it Marleen Carter
