Hi can anyone help on a William Davies b c 1874. We know he was married to a Sarah Jane Thomas and lived at 60 Grace Street Byker Northumberland, There children were Thomas William b1899 (married a Rose Crawley c1919) In 1901 census it is hard to read where he came from but we think it is Harlow or Horlow. Sarah Jane Thomas parents were George Thomas age 34 born Ludlow Shropshire and Isabella, sister was Margaret Davies born c1875 All Saints Northumberland William and Sarah also had a child named Rebecca who died single in 1976. I would like to hear from any Davies family who come from Gateshead, Byker or Newcastle if there is a connection. Many Thanks Sue. |
