Trying to find Wright

I am looking for any information about Edward Wright probably born circa 1910-15 who fathered a daughter born in an Ipswich maternity home in 1937. The home address given for the mother and father at the time was 13 Fonnereau Rd in Ipswich but no Wrights were shown living there in the electoral rolls for that year. Not much is known about Edward but rumours are that he may have been married to someone other than the child's mother at the time, and may have had other children by this marriage. The child's mother's name was Edith but she went by Jean. She was a nurse in London and Suffolk hospitals. Edith's brothers are rumoured to have retaliated physically for his treatment of their sister. Edward's middle name may have been Bertram (or a derivative) a name he did not use because he disliked it. His occupation was listed as a "college chef" on the birth certificate but he may have been in the military. Edward is almost certainly no longer living but may have living children.Finding a relative would be very helpful both for medical and genealogical reasons.
