I am trying to trace any relatives of my ggrandmother Mary Turner. She was married to Arthur Perry and they lived in Tean in Staffordshire. In the 1881 Census she was 23 years old and I believe had a daughter Elisabeth who was 3 years. Mary was born in Winnothdale Stafford. I have been told that the Turners came over from County Sligo and were horse traders/Romany gypsies. I am not sure if Mary's parents were born over there or not or if it was her grandparents. Mary and Arthur had 10 children: Elizabeth (born 1878 - illegitemate) Hannah Angela (1882)- My grandmother Edward (Ted) (1886) Arthur (1886? haven't heard of twins in the family unless born at one end of the year from the other?) killed in WWI Evelyn (Effie) (1891) James (1894) killed in WWI Joseph (1896) killed in WWI Dorothy (Dolly) Veronica - died as a baby Maud - died as a result of burns No birth dates for last three children. I would be grateful for any information on any of them. Angela Wilson
