Trying to find any information on my great grandfather THOMAS Harris who was born in London in 1855. I understand from old recollections of the family that he had a huge bust up with his father and he ran away to sea when quite young. He went back to see his family some years later but something happened and he never went back again. He married Thomasina or Jonahh (I don't have her maiden name) from Orkney and settled in Sunderland. He had two daughters Eleanor and Elizabeth and two sons John Banks and Thomas Frederick (my grandfather born 1890). |
