Hi, I have been trying to research my grandad William John King's family but have hit a brick wall. We know from the marriage certificate that William's father was called George William King and he was married to Sarah Stone (her father was William Stone) they married in 1900 in East London. At the time of their marriage they lived in Victoria Road Bow. They had the following children. George William John (my grandad born 1904 in Hackney died 1981) Alfred (Alfie) Joseph Nellie Rose The only other information I have is that George married a girl called Julie, they had a son called Peter and he had two children called Glen and Denise and I think they lived in Canvey Island. I remember meeting Aunt Julie and Peter once after my grandad died in 1981 Grandad married Nora Eileen Donovan and they had three children William Eileen Maureen (my mum) So if this rings any bells with anybody could you please get in touch.
