Trying to find any info on my late Grandmother's family. Her name was Bertha Lodge (nee Green). I believe that she had a brother called Herbert. I also vaguely remember my father (Bertha's son) telling me that she and her sibling/s had been in an ophanage but not sure if this is true. She passed away in the late 70's/early 80's. She was married to Amos Lodge (deceased now) and they had 2 children - Clifford and Geoffrey (my father). If my memory is correct, they lived in Bankfield Terrace in Burley, Leeds. I vaguely remember a cousin Peter and an Auntie Annie, but not sure if Annie was on my mother's side. I have been given an address for my Uncle but am still interested in anyone who is related or knows of relations. |
