Find Ancestors

Trying to find details of my maternal grandfather Joseph Henry Hill, he was a soldier bc 1890/1/2 and possibly came from Bury in Lancashire. At the time of his marriage his residence was listed as "Piers Hill Barracks, Edinburgh" His father was called Frederick Hill his occupation was a brewer. His sister was called Louis (?spelling) ( who married a Norman Jones) Joseph married my grandmother Lizzie Clay 2nd August 1915 at St Mary's Church Selly Oak, Birmingham and they had two children Thelma Beatrice and Kenneth Henry. Lizzie died aged 46yrs in 1937 and he remarried a lady called Grace surname unknown. He had a cafe at Ledsam Street in Ladywood in Birmingham ? when. I think he died in about 1956 ish but I have not been able to locate any death announcement (or details of his birth) so the date may be wrong.
