hi my name is trudy i am trying to find some info on my nans mothers side of the family. my great grandmothers name was martha jane griffiths and after finding out some details it has emerged that she had a twin sister called edith gwendoline although no body has heard of this child.they were born in pembroke in 1899 and martha went on to marry a sidney meaney from ireland and had 4 children(one died at birth). I have asked my nan but she cant remember her grandparents names and she believes they died while she was young. there is no trace of edith having died or married so we are unsure what has happened to her. if this rings any bells with anyone please contact me thank you |
