My Gran on my mother's side was Anges Tough MacMillian (maiden name Wilson) and I am looking to track down decendants of her brothers & sisters. Agnes was born in Forgue, Aberdeenshire on 20/3/1899. She was married to William MacMillan and her parents were George Wilson (Farm Servant) & Annie Wilson (maiden name Ingram). Agnes was one of 10 children. I believe they were all born in Aberdeenshire although this may not be 100% correct. Her brothers Alex and James were killed in World War I and another brother, John died as a bachelor according to my mother, Edna Margaret Cruickshank (MacMillan). However, there were six others, George, Frank, William, Margaret, Annabelle & Amy. There is every chance they moved to the west of Scotland like my Gran did, settling in the Elderslie / Johnstone / Paisley area. Can anyone help? |
