Member Since: June 2003 Posts: 7 Send Message	Trying to find any details of my grandfather and great-grandfather both called SAMUEL BENNETT. My grandfather was born in Brierley Hill Staffordshire in 1862. At some time after that my grandfather moved to Hucknall and Kirkby, Nottinghamshire because he married my Grandmother Ellen Preston in 1883. After that they moved to Nottingham itself and in 1901 kept an off licence where my father (Horace) was born. My father was the youngest. He had 2 sisters, Eliza and Minnie and 2 brothers, John and Alf.
