My great grandfathers name was Robert Young he married a lady called Susan Depster Mcinnes, they had 5 children,my grandad Robert, Louisa, Jean and Jenny "who were twins", William (Bill) and James who died as a baby. My great grandfather Robert Young had a brother called James. my great grandfather Robert Young is buried in a small country church grave yard in the Campsie Hills outside Glasgow. Jean Young moved from Scotland to Freemantle, Perth, Australia, she had a son called Ian O,neil, and William (bill) married Flora they had 2 children, Ronnie and Joyce. my grandfather Robert Young married Ethel Barrie hasty who lived in the Govan rd, Goven, Glasgow, they had 4 children my mum Susan, Robert, Isobel and Stewart Young they were all born in Glasgow and lived there till about 1978 then moved to London were we all still live. my grandfather,s cousins owned Young,s of Dundee haulage contracting company. if this rings a bell with anyone reading i would love to here from you, lynne x |
