Hi .. I was born in 1954 out of wed-lock. My Biological father was a Alan Walker from South Dalton near Beverley East Yorkshire. His parents where George/Alice Walker, they also I am lead to believe had a daughter. My father if still alive will be about 73/74. He was a farm worker on Lord Hothams Estate. I believe my grandparents also worked for Lord Hotham. They lived in a tied Cottage, Main Street opposite the church in South Dalton. He emigrated to Australia in the 50's. The story goes he also had other children by TWO Sisters? so they will be in the late 40's or early 50's by now. My real name is Alana Walker by birth BUT I was adopted 4 years later and they changed my name entirely. PLEASE could anyone help in trying to trace any of my relatives on the Walker side. |
