i am looking for any infomation on the family of my grandfather Job Martin 1 of seven children born to sarah and job martin had 3 brothers peter, william and george. and 3 sisters carrie, cassie and sally (sally and george were twins). he was born in 1904 and married minnie louisa thompson in 1927 they had 12 children and the family lived in and around belvedere. together they ran a fair usualy held in franks park in belvedere. shortly after the death of my grandad in 1965 the main attraction was tacken in an apparent gentlemens aggreement and the rest of the fair disspersed does anyone know any information on this family or by chance dose any one know any one in the area who aquired a merrygo round in 1965-1966 who never used it. it was rumered to have been left to rot? and worth a fortune. |
