George William Jackson. George William was probably born in 1891, probably in Doncaster. George had a brother, Tom Charles (known as Charlie) who was probably born around 1906, also in Doncaster. There was another brother in between - no sisters as far as we know. George was in the Royal Air Corps in WW1 based in Great Yarmouth and he moved back to Yorkshire pre-1924. I have tentatively linked George to a George and Frances (Fanny) Jackson from the 1901 census but don't know 100% that this is the right family. I would love to hear from anyone who can help. |
