I'm trying to find information about my paternal grandmother's family. She was Beatrice Elizabeth Ann Ellis Williams, who was born in Wales [I think] on around about 1895-1900 time. Her father was Frederick George Ellis Mortimer, but I don't know his birth/death dates nor who he married, nor how many other children they had. Beatrice married Joseph Ivor Mortimer on 2 March 1921 in the District of Frome. Their address was stated to be 32 Witham Friary They moved back to Wales, and had four children, two of whom died in childhood. Joan died as a baby, but I don't know her birth/death dates nor where she was born Ivor William was born in Wales on 6 August 1923, and died at Taunton, Somerset on 21 July 1996 [my Dad] Faith died aged 10 on 15 October 1938 - she's buried in Taunton, so the family had moved there by then. Cynthia is the youngest [and only surviving] child, but I don't know exactly when / where she was born, but think it would be sometime in 1930s. Beatrice died on 24 December 1968 & is buried with her husband and daughter Faith at St Mary's Cemetery, Taunton, Somerset, UK |
