Trying to find Harris

Hi I am trying to trace the Harris side of my family who lived in Scotland. My great great grandfather was James Harris born about 1854 and died 25 Jan 1939 died he was married to Mary Mitchell and they had 9 children (have all details). His parents were William Harris born approx 1814 died 5 April 1905 and was married to Janet Scott. I think they had a son George who married Elizabeth Abernethy and had 4 children. Williams parents were William Harris and Grisal Gimour who married 5 Oct 1806. From the information I have I believe they were from the Motherwell area. I would like to hear from anyone who has any further info on any of the above. Many thanks Marion |
